Clarus Site Solutions delivers vital connectivity upgrade to Exmouth Community College
Background:
Exmouth Community College is an academy in Exmouth, Devon, England. The college provides secondary education for 2000 plus students aged 11 to 18.
Clarus Site Solutions were approached by our cross hire partner, Pickering Hire Ltd, to install a complete network fit out of classroom space at Exmouth Community College, on behalf of BAM Construction and the Department of Education.
Challenge:
Exmouth Community College is currently going through a major upgrade, in order to future proof the existing building for years to come.
As part of this upgrade, there was a requirement to install a 30 cabin modular office building, which would serve as a fully functional, multi classroom compound capable of delivering lessons to over 300 students, in a very short window of time.
The aim was to cause as little disruption to the students as possible, so it was agreed that the install would take place during the small window of the mid term break.
Solution:
Clarus Site Solutions installed the data networking solution, containing bespoke digital teaching facilities. The system was fully installed and fluke tested withing a 3 day window, meeting the required deadline and ensuring a fully functional classroom environment for teachers and their pupils.
